Lopico has had a link to get directions on the site since the day maps went live. Now after eleven and a half minutes of coding with Google’s tremendously simple directions API, the directions are available without leaving Lopico – and come on, who would want to leave Lopico? To get directions, simply navigate your way to the map of your favorite destination, enter your starting address and magically you’ll have a map with custom directions just for you.

That\’s pretty cool! The directions don\’t have all the usual information, like time, though. Any plans to add that?

Actually, that\’s not our decision. The directions use an API from Google (which more or less means that Lopico plugs in Google\’s code instead of creating our own) so for now Google gets to decide what information is and is not included. As more features become available through this API, they will be added.
